Why I Want to Bring This Play to the Public
A Conversation with Gary Gach
Q: What inspired you to create this play?
The play grew out of a deep need to explore truth, memory, and the emotional realities that shape our lives. Through storytelling and performance, the work invites audiences to reflect on difficult questions while also discovering moments of compassion, healing, and connection. The creative process became a way of transforming personal and collective experiences into something meaningful that could be shared with others.
Q: Why is it important for you to bring the play to the public now?
I believe this play opens space for honest conversation at a time when people are searching for understanding and human connection. Theatre has the power to bring people together in a direct and emotional way that few other art forms can. My hope is that audiences leave feeling seen, challenged, and inspired to look more deeply at truth in their own lives and communities.
